Do I need to bring riding gear?
Yes, you do need to bring your own riding gear. If you forget something, we have MX shops close by.
Which Airport should I fly too?
Taupo or Rotorua Airport pick-up and drop-off are included in the package cost. Our closest International Airport is in Auckland, and we can pick you up and drop you back at Auckland Airport at an additional cost.
Which bikes can I ride?
We have the current model YAMAHA range, including
2 Stroke, 85cc, 125cc, 250cc
4 Stroke, 250F, 250FX, 450F, 450FX
Make sure you book early to secure your bike preference.
Is the accommodation and food included?
Accommodation and food are not included in the package price. However, we can help you find a great place to stay within your budget.
What if I'm not a great rider?
Riders need to be Intermediate to Expert level, but we do have a lot of easy tracks you can ride. A few Trail Riding Tracks are split into Easy and Hard, something to suit every rider's ability. I can cater to you and your group's riding ability.
What if I want to bring my Wife/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Kids?
Terrific. You will mostly (weather dependent) be based in Taupo. There are a lot of great things to do and see, and I'm sure they won't be short of things to do while you are off riding.
What if I damage the bike?
The bikes will be fully prepared to go. On the first evening, I will ensure that everything is set up to suit you. We will look after normal wear and tear, mechanical or suspension. If you damage/break something, then there will be a cost to you to replace that part (at our cost price).
Do I need travel and health insurance?
Yes, we recommend you have travel insurance as the deposit is not refundable. We advise International riders to have travel and health insurance.
How do I book?
You will need to pay a 20% Deposit (non-refundable) on booking.
The balance is to be paid 4 weeks before your ride.
